用句型 What's it/ this? How about this one? It's a .... 并引出新句型Where is the book? It's on the desk. 把书放在不同位置,引出介词in与under。基础较好的班级可补充教授:in front of, behind, next to, between等介词的学习。
Step 2、简单操练,引出复数句型,并操作Where are the books? They are on the desk. 用keys, pens, rulers等实物来操练。
Step 3、训练in, on, under,不用Is it on the desk? 明知故问。先让学生follow you. Put your...on/ in/ under.... 看谁做得又快又好。请学生到讲台前面来表演,让学生看了桌面东西的摆放,闭眼猜:Is the book in the desk?.... 其他同学回答Yes, it is./ No, it isn't. 也可让一学生藏东西,同时另一同学背对讲台,猜:Is the pen on the chair?其余同学回答Yes / No.
Step 4、再用复数重复第3步。 [第一课时完]

Step 1 复习Where is ...? It's .... Where are ...? They are .... 及句型Is it ...? Are they ...? 注:这次把定冠词the 换成物主代词:my, your, his, her. 也可重复第3、4步来复习。
Step 2 检查1a听力训练答案,听力对话让学生复述。
Step 3 同第6步处理2a、2b、3a。
Step 4预习section B部分单词。用问题:
What's in your bedroom?
Do you have a...in your bedroom?
引出单词学习。
