Period Six　Writing-Writing an article about problems and

solutions

　　本单元讲问题解决类作文。此类作文往往就某事提出自己的建议或解决方法。有可能是写给个人，就其遇到的某个问题提出自己的看法和观点，也可能是写给某个组织或机构，就其问题或某些社会现象等提出建议及解决措施。

其基本结构为：

正文一般采用"三段式结构"。

首段：针对对方对自己的信任简单表示感谢，或直接陈述事由，表明写作意图。

主体段：首先肯定对方的优点，然后再委婉地分析存在的问题，并提出解决的建议。表达时应语言得体。

尾段：强调解决问题的根本方法或提出倡议。

1．To get rid of...，I suggest you...

2．It's very important for you to do...

3．You should develop positive attitudes towards life and take an active part in communicating with others.

4．You should stop buying unnecessary things because no wasting is saving.

5．Faced with/Facing the problem，I think we should...

6．Something should be done to help you to achieve your aims.
